The Question for the forum was (What are foundation stones?) I wan't to try to answer that question. Im not %100 sure I will be correct,so I would love feedback from moderators.



                First id like to talk about (FOUNDATION). In 1cor3:11 it says:For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. So when we are talking about (foundation stones) these are (stones) we build upon the foundation wich for the disciple should only be JESUS CHRIST. Foundation is such a important subject that gets very little attention. Even Jesus taught about the man that builds on the ROCK/SAND read: Matt 7:24,28.

                Paul the Apostle talks about (foundation) alot. In 1 cor 3:10 Paul teaches about how he laid the (foundation) wich is JESUS CHRIST and that other's that teach the WORD of GOD should be careful how they build upon that foundation. Wich moves us to what are (FOUNDATION STONES?)

              So now I hope I was CLEAR what a foundation is let me attempt to speak on what (foundation stones) are. In the book of Hebrews ch 5 the author says in verse 12,14  For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you (AB)the (AC)elementary principles of the (AD)oracles of God, and you have come to need (AE)milk and not solid food.

 13For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an (AF)infant.

 14But solid food is for (AG)the mature, who because of practice have their senses (AH)trained to (AI)discern good and evil.  The author of HEBREWS is telling these JEWISH DISCIPLES that by this time in their walk with JESUS they should be able to teach other's about JESUS CHRIST but for some reason these follower's of JESUS are still immature. It is my feeling that what they started to use as (foundation stones) to build their foundation(JESUS CHRIST) was the wrong material (knowledge). Look at the following chapter in Hebrews 6:1 this is all one train of thought that the author is trying to relay to these  Hebrew Christians.

Therefore (A)leaving (B)the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to (C)maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from (D)dead works and of faith toward God,
 2of (E)instruction about washings and (F)laying on of hands, and the (G)resurrection of the dead and (H)eternal judgment. These Hebrew Christians (foundation) was not solid. The author of HEBREWS then makes a (LIST) of subjects/knowledge of what to (USE) as (MATERIAL/KNOWLEDGE) when laying a (FOUNDATION). It is my humble (personal revelation) that this list in the book of HEBREWS 6:1,2 are what we as christians should use as (FOUNDATION STONES) to lay in our lives so we will be firm and secure and able to stand when the STORM'S of life come.

     Look at what the author says in verse 1," let us press on to (C)maturity, not (laying again a foundation). "not laying again foundation" The author even says this is what a foundation stone is then he LIST THEM 1)REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS. 2)FAITH TOWARDS GOD. 3)INSTRICTION ABOUT BAPTISMS. 4)THE LAYING ON OF HANDS. 5)THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD. 5)ETERNAL JUDGMENT.

    In the (NIV) version it list these (STONES) as the " elemantary teachings about CHRIST". Its my personal understanding that if CHRISTIANS will 2TIM 2:15
Be diligent to (AK)present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling (AL)the word of truth, with these (stones) that they will see that they become the man that JESUS taught about in Matt 7:24 that DUG DEEP and laid down on the (ROCK).
