Title: Translations of Patrick Ersig's Vision of True and False Revival
Post by: Eugene Shubert on September 09, 2008, 07:29:33 AM
The Chinese language is written in two different ways. Writing in Mainland China uses Simplified Chinese, and other Chinese countries use Traditional Chinese. Patrick Ersig's Vision of True and False Revival (http://www.obeyjesus.net/content/view/366/74) has been translated into both written forms of Chinese by a dear friend of mine. See:

Patrick Ersig's Vision of True and False Revival in Simplified Chinese (http://www.cometochrist.org/chinese/falserevival_s.htm)

Patrick, if your computer is set up like mine, then you won't be able to see the Chinese characters unless you install Chinese fonts. I did that last night. If you use Internet Explorer, go to View in your browser menu and select Encoding - More - Chinese Simplified and View -Encoding - More -Chinese - Traditional. I was prompted to put in my Windows CD, which added the Chinese Fonts. I noticed that Firefox is similar. From the browser menu, you can select View, then Character Encoding and then Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. With the Chinese fonts installed, when you then go to any page that has Chinese characters, those characters will appear correctly, automatically.
